    Reversing a Quit Claim Deed
I recently filed a QuitClaim Deed and I put my two daughters names on the Deed, however I did it wrong. I ended up transferring my home over to them instead of just adding their names on the Deed as my Survivors as I had intended to do. Bad error on my part. Now I need to get it back in my name so I can put my property and bank accounts in a Living Trust. Should we file another Deed and transfer the property back into my name first? Then what paper should we file to transfer the property into my Living Trust? I want both of them to be Executors of the Trust and my only Survivors.

Since it is obvouis that you can cause a lot of problems doing it wrong, hire a real estate attorney or a title company to do it right.

You in general make the trust the actual owner or in your will leave the proeprty to the trust. But you are lucky your two daughters are willing to sign it back over, they don't have to, had this been someone you were having some issues with, they could cheat you out of the property

My father-in-law died 11/1/06 of pancreatic cancer. On 10/23/06, my brother-in-law filed a quit claim deed transferring the house from dad to himself. The signature on the deed doesn't look like dad's. Dad was bed-ridden and on a morphine drip. Of the 6 siblings, no one was aware of this until...

I have a major problem with a quit claim deed that was done regarding my father's property. The intention was to put me in the deed but as an heir to the property, not as a co-owner or anything like that. So, a quit claim deed was filled out and recorded at the clerk of the circuit court. However,...
