    Kenmore Elite Dryer
    Dryer start button need to be held down to keep dryer running. Why?:confused:

    Depending what model you have, it could be a bad start relay, possibly a bad motor start switch, I've seen broken wires leading to the motor, and even bad motors themselves.
    This is NOT an easy problem to diagnose in many cases. Sorry!:(

My kenmore dryer starts the drying cycle then after about 2 - 5 minutes shuts off. It will restart after about 30 minutes. I have checked the thermal cut offs hi limit thermostats, etc. Any suggestions?
