Hey, I never thought I would come online and ask about this type of thing until recently its started to worry me that I can't get pregnant! I'm 18 and my boyfriend is 34 and we have been trying for a baby for about 5 months now and I always keep track of my periods and when I ovulate and we always do it on them dates! Everytime i come on my period I feel really upset and I was due on my period today and this morning I had nothing and thought I could of been but this afternoon i've noticed a little bit off blood when I wipe and I know its the start of yet another period! I'm not getting to stressed out over it, and we never really think to much about it and enjoy the sex! I never thought it would be hard to get pregnant and I always see pregnant women around and it makes me jealous in a way. I mean i'm only 18 so they're can't be anything wrong with me surely?! My boyfriend has told me that he has been for checks anyway! so he's ok! I know evryone is different and everyones bodies work in different ways, but should I keep trying longer or shall I visit the doctor? I'm not sure if 5 months is a long time trying, but to me it seems like its taking forever! So please anybody can you help me and put my mind at rest! Thanks a lot. Lauren x x x x x x x

I answered in your other post, but again I will tell you that 5 months is definitely not a long time to be trying. Continue working on that baby and it will happen in time. Make sure you keep up on your gyno visits. You should probably schedule an appointment with them as a preconception check up. If you haven't gotten pregnant within a year you may want to look into fertility issues. Until then just have fun trying, and keep your doctor informed on your efforts.
