    Hamton Bay sailwind fan AC390-LRU
    Hi

We have the above fan outside on our patio. For some reason, the fan paddles are not pushing enough air downward. We have tried both directions and it was installed by a licensed electrician. We are thinking of replacing the paddles since they are made of canvas and feel that there isn't enough weight to push the air down.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks-

    Rich

Rather than replace the paddles I would replace the entire fan. It takes quite a powerful fan to move are outdoors. I recommend using industrial/commercial models. If it will be contacting moisture make sure you get one rated for that. See:
