    grade 12 probability
    A test has 4 multiple choice questions each with 4 selections. Determine the probability of passing the test vy guessing to the nearest thousandth.

    Hello Jessnic.

    What is considered passing? Getting all 4 questions correct? 3 correct?

    What is the probability of answering onw correctly? There are 4 choices, so 1/4.

    Now, suppose you answer the next one correct; you still have 1 in 4.

    So, the probabiltiy of getting 2 in a row right is (1/4)(1/4). See? Now what's the

    probabiltiy of getting all 4 correct?
