I have used pre mixed flowers in special plastic bags that work quite well but have never tried to do this with just a plastic bag. Even though I have bought this from a florist they still need lots of water.

Why don't you buy or order what you see and just do it that way. Sometimes money is saved just going with the original idea.

Or... just plant a Tomatoe Plant in a planter on your balcony. Container plants usually work out quite well if kept watered.

I was considering getting an early start with my tomato garden, here in the New York city area, by turning it over and adding a manure to the soil to be turned in at a later date. Does this seem reasonable, do you have any particular suggestions? Thanks for your help.
