Can I prevent my chcking account from being levied?
I had some old credit card debts. The credit card company sued me and has a judgement. Now that I am working again, my employer offers direct deposit but I am afraid to deposit any money into my account for fear it will be frozen or levied. I have a new bank account, will the credit card company have access to my account information? Is there any way to prevent a levy on the account? Will I get a notice before the account is levied? I live in California.

You already go a notice, they have a judgement, no there is no way to stop them as long it is in your name. So any money that goes in to it, will be subject to being attached. And yes they can find your bank accounts.

But honestly all they have to do is garnish your paycheck before it even goes in the bank
