    Pregnancy doubts
    I am 20 weeks pregnant. My last period was the 4th of dec 2006. My due date is the 10th of sep. I had sex with this guy back in August 2006, it was an affairand it lasted two days. I had my period sep, nov, and dec, during these months I only had sex with my boyfriend of 5 years. In jan I missed my period and found out I was pregnant!! I was so happy buy the guiltiness of my affair kept following me in my dreams. Is it possible that my baby is not my boyfriends? Can sperm live so long and be fertilized after 4 months?? I know it sound stupid but the guilt is killing me and I am not enjoying my wanted pregnancy 100%. Please advise me how can I get rid of this feeling, can I be 100% sure that this baby growing in me is my boyfriends? Do I need to tell him of that affair? I my baby is due in sep is then impossible for the August guy to be the father of my baby? Please help!!

    No, sperm can not live for 4 months. You got pregnant in December, not August.

    Yea you got pregnant in December because that's same as me I am due September 12 so your baby is definitely your boyfriends

    Sperm can only live in the vagina in perfect conditions for around 3 or 4 days I think.

    Your boyfriend is the father - but if you are having nightmares about this - it may be time to come clean about the affair before the baby gets here.

    Everyone is right. This is your boyfriend's baby. Sperm cannot live for 4 months inside your body. They can only live up to 3 - 4 days without being fertalized before they die.

    I do agree though that if this affair is eating you up so bad, you may have to come clean. Although you may feel better knowing that this in no way shape or form can be the child of the man in which you had the affair with, it seems that you are riddled with guilt.

    Just take peace in knowing that this is the child of your boyfriend.
