I am cancered that my Husband's Dr. is being unethical because he won't give him any pain medication unless I come in and give a pee test that I would have to pay for. This is to make sure that I'm not taking any of his medication. Is this right or not?

The doc isn't required to give you or your husband pain medication. He can choose to attend a patient but doesn't have to. If he says he'll presribe under these restrictions then you have to decide if you want to pay for the test. What do you think makes him suspicious of you?

I don't think he is being unethical. If he feels his patient needs pain meds and that if he prescribes them, the pateint won't get them, then he is doing his duty.
