Midterm elections traditionally are not kind to the party in the White House. This year Trump can tout many accomplishments . That won't mean a thing if the people have an impression that the economy is in the cr*pper .

The White House is inexplicably late out of the starting gait . They should already be touting a consistent message .

The problem is that Trump is the message and almost single-handedly controls the messaging.

Chief of Staff Susie Wiles is fully aware that this is a vulnerability. She gathered the cabinet and staffers away from the White House ;to the 'Capitol Hill Club'; for a chicken-and-steak buffet powwow .

She gave them the Bubba admonition ..... 'it's the economy stupid '.... not the border ...not foreign policy...not Epstein...not cheating in 2020 ...not political retribution ... not criminals deported ;not even wage increases . Closing the border was so 2025 . DOGE failure ;no one is talking about it Musk is back to building space ships .

People see the price of things they buy go up every day ;even if it is at a slower rate than when Clueless Joe was asleep on the job.

To emphasis the point ;pollster Tony Fabrizio took over the meeting and presented 2 dozen slides to show them the danger the GOP is in.

And the constituents to be persuaded is fewer than they think..... men, moderates, true independents and Hispanic voters are it . Everyone else has already dug in.

He told them to ditch going to the compliant press. No one goes there for news anymore. Go to Fakebook. They are still the king of social media. After that make their case on Instagram and TikTok. They already own X and Trump's personal social media site Truth Social.

Up for grabs is 7 Senate seats and 36 swing Congressional districts . Right now retaining the Senate is safe for the GOP unless the blue wave is a tsunami of 50 seats in the House . That is unlikely because of all the redistricting shenanigans going on.

The wild card to overcome is Trump's undisciplined messaging. They were told to let Trump do his thing while doing what is necessary without his direction. They need to be consistent and data driven and focused .

They already know what the Dems will do . Theirs will be a TDS stop Trump campaign. Don't let that distract them they were warned. Hammer the message they want the voters to hear.
