To deal with it the Dems passed the FACE ACT and Bubba signed it 1994 It has 3 provisions ,2 of which protect abortion clinics . The 3rd one was a bone to get religious Reps on board. It prohibits

the use of physical force, threat of physical force, or physical obstruction to intentionally injure, intimidate, interfere with or attempt to injure, intimidate or interfere with any person who is exercising or trying to exercise their First Amendment right of religious freedom at a place of religious worship, .

Lemon joined a mob attacking the church . He may have actively assisted in planning the assault. But he held a microphone and a recorder as he stormed the church . So he claims he has 1st amendment freedom of the press protection.
