This story has gone viral except with the compliant press which is doing it's best to ignore it .

August 22 .... Iryna Zarutska escaped the carnage in Ukraine after the Russian invasion and headed to the "safety" of the US . She legally emigrated and settled in Charlotte North Carolina where she got a job at a pizza restaurant.

She was on her way home from her shift ;riding the Lynx ;the public light rail system of the city ;when she was attacked and murdered .

Decarlos Brown ;a homeless man that city official were well aware had mental problems ; unfolded a pocket knife and plunged it into her chest and throat multiple times from the seat behind her. She never saw it coming.

He then left his seat . Video sees him walking down the aisle with his knife dripping leaving a trail of blood as other passengers ignored him and did not give her assistance until he left the train.

Charlotte Dem Mayor Vi Lyles was among the mum. But video of the attack went public so she had to make a public statement ;which she did on X .

Her response was ridiculous . She thanked the media for the cover up and then posted that she is doing what she can to keep the city safe .

Her attacker has a lengthy rap sheet dating back to 2011 that includes felony larceny ;armed robbery that he served 5 years in jail for ; and assaulting his sister after he was released . . :Last year he called 9-1-1 and reported that he had an implant in him that was controlling his actions . Clearly it was dangerous for him to be homeless and free to roam as a predator . He was arrested for his 9-1-1 call but was released without bond even with his lengthy rap sheet .

According to court documents, Brown's fitness was questioned earlier this year, leading to the order for a forensic mental health evaluation, which was not finished prior to the tragic event.
