reducing the cost of child care
reducing the cost of child care is a legit issue. What's the plan ?

Kam the Sham says she will continue Clueless Joe's policies which are essentially throw taxpayer's monopoly bucks at the problem .

White House to ask Congress for $16 billion in child-care funding - The Washington Post

Election 2024: Biden revives effort to lower costs of caregiving for families | AP News

It's a bad plan . But it is a plan.

Trump was asked about his plan and in this case I have to agree with his critics . It was an incoherent mumbling that did not appear to be thought out.

Sahil Kapur on X: "Donald Trump was asked today what he’d do about child care if elected president. This is what he said, in its entirety: https://t.co/k32oHFm04B" / X

Best guess is that he wants tariffs to cover child care costs.

JD Vance was slightly better . He got panned for saying grandma can pick up the slack. But traditional family values would only work for people with traditional family values.

Other solutions like deregulation would be a better conservative answer . Providers often are required to have licenses to do their job. Some states have minimums of college degrees.
What Certifications Do I Need to Open a Daycare? (mybrightwheel.com)

Some places have restrictive zoning that prevent or limit in home day care service or the staff to child ratios . These drive up the costs and could be corrected .

The best reply is "why is this a concern for a President ?" Child care is as close to a problem begging for a local solution as there is For those of us who believe in a limited power of the Federal government that is the only correct response.

But traditional family values would only work for people with traditional family values.
It's worse than that. Traditional family values only work for people in traditional families. Single moms often have no one to turn to for help, and that's a compelling reason not to become a single mom. Their children are turned over to complete strangers to raise in schools and daycares, and thus we see the advent of outrages such as drag queen story hour and classes on gender selection. Families are scattered to the four winds now as opposed to living near each other. Parents and their adult children often no longer stay in touch, so parents grow old and feeble with no help from their kids.

There is a reason God put this thing together the way He did.

I disagree. What harm do drag queens do? They are men dressed as women. And always give kids a fun time by reading stories.

Women in our society dress as men (I do!), wearing pants (not dresses or skirts), cotton pullover shirts (not blouses), sturdy shoes (not high heels), etc.

We encourage our kids to dress up for Halloween. Does dressing up as Bugs Bunny make that child a rabbit?

P.S. Jesus and men in His time wore long dresses.

As for classes on gender selection, they make us a kinder, more accepting, society by learning what personal challenges many have and decisions they have to make.

You think this is fine for young children. I don't. That's about it.

As for Halloween, I don't care for it, but families get to make their own choices, and it's not presented as being normal.

Men and women did not dress alike in the days of Jesus, so since that is your appeal, you are demonstrated to be wrong.

Telling five year olds that they really don't know if they are a boy or a girl is nothing less than a sickening lie.
