Covid lockdowns the mistake that keeps on giving
John Tierney writes a must read essay on the terrible consequences that were brought about by draconian and dictatorial lockdowns by government over reach. It is the tragedy of good intentions.

The researchers found no statistically significant effect from the restrictions. The mortality rates in states with stringent policies were not significantly different from those in less restrictive states. Two of the largest states, California and Florida, fared the same—their mortality rates both stood at the national average—despite California’s lengthy lockdowns and Florida’s early reopening. New York, with a mortality rate worse than average despite ranking first in the nation in the stringency of its policies, fared the same as the least restrictive state, South Dakota.
Meantime, the lockdowns did have other significant effects on health. Rates of smoking, drinking, and obesity increased. The number of excess deaths from non-Covid causes in the U.S. rose by nearly 100,000 annually due to extra deaths from stroke, heart attack, diabetes, obesity, drug overdoses, alcohol-induced causes, homicide, and traffic accidents. Many of these excess deaths, which occurred disproportionately among working-age adults, were presumably related to the lockdowns’ disruptions in people’s lives and in medical treatments. The delays in screening for heart disease and cancer will continue to have a deadly impact in the years ahead.

More proof that the government covid relief was a fraud .

This from progressive mag 'Rolling Stone' .

Factoring in President Biden’s and Trump’s relief efforts, the U.S. released more than $5 trillion into the economy — the biggest bailout in history. Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz told congress that more than a $100 billion in Covid aid money may have ended up misappropriated, but many experts and members of law enforcement think the number is much higher. The AP estimates $280 million went to fraudsters and another $123 billion was misappropriated, some 10 percent of the relief money. For his part, Talcove estimates the actual losses blow past the tallies being thrown around. “The real number is much higher. I think the government lost a trillion dollars due to fraud in the pandemic,” he says. “One trillion.”

More proof that the lockdowns were a fraud to control the masses .

NYC's version of 'herr doctor ' was Dr Jay Varma . He got caught last month on tape bragging that while he was helping enforce lockdowns ; he secretly was having sex parties .

CAUGHT: NYC Covid Czar Admits Forcing Vaccines & Having Drug-Fueled Sex Parties - YouTube

“I had to be kind of sneaky about it … because I was running the entire COVID response in the city,”

"My wife and I had one with our friends in August of like that first summer. So we rented a hotel … we all took, like, you know, molly(3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine... aka ground powder from ecstasy pills ) and like it was like eight or nine or us, eight to 10 of us were in a room and everybody had a blast because everybody was like so pent up,”

“I did all this deviant, like sexual stuff while I was like, you know, like on TV and stuff. People were like, ‘Aren’t you afraid? Aren’t you embarrassed?’ and I was like, ‘No, actually, I’m like, I love being my authentic self,'”

He was on TV promoting getting the vaccine ;social distancing ,remote learning for kids;telling us to not celebrate holidays with family and to fire workers who refuse to get vaccinated . Meanwhile in private he acted like Caligula at a Bacchanalia .

Actually, studies have shown that the Covid virus was suppressed and a great deal less dangerous when, like, you know, people were really "pent up" and doing "deviant...sexual stuff" as long as it could be determined to a high degree of certainty that they were merely being their, like, you know, like "authentic self".

It is a mystery to me why the American people put up with this craziness. Why, for instance, WG cannot respond to this and say, "Yeah, that's an outrage no matter what political party it's associated with." Instead, nearly everyone will just yawn and move on with their lives. After all, the local library will be hosting a drag queen event for five-year-olds tomorrow morning.
