Good thing that Scott has the emperor to tell him how to be Black in America.

Barack Obama has criticized two Republican presidential hopefuls, the South Carolina senator Tim Scott and the former UN ambassador Nikki Haley, over their stances on race relations in America.

In a podcast interview, Obama, who became the first Black US president when he was elected in 2008, said that while presenting a hopeful message on race relations was important, “that has to be undergirded with an honest accounting of our past and our present”.

Tim Scott had REAL experiences growing up as a Black in the Jim Crow South . The emperor had an African father and a White mother . He was trained as a radical .

Once he was adopted by the swamp he went all deep state He is a jet setter living the rich man's life while parroting the Dem BS that if you aint a liberal Dem Black permanently chained to the Dem plantation , then you aint authentic.

Scott replied

The last thing in the world most liberal dems want to see happen is, "an honest accounting of our past and our present." The large number of those who are amazingly successful is a testament to the fact that the opportunities are there. In the great majority of cases, the worst enemy now of black Americans is the behavior of black Americans.

Ironically the emperor ran in 2008 on he being proof of the progress the country has made. That was before he became the deep state's shill. Back then he said
there is not a liberal America and a conservative America” or “a black America and a white America” but only “a United States of America.”

Now he says “I think there’s a long history of African-American or other minority candidates within the Republican Party who will validate America and say, ‘Everything’s great, and we can all make it.’ I mean, Nikki Haley, I think, has a similar approach.”

Neither Scott of Haley is saying everything is great . So his argument is a strawman. Neither dismiss racism and discrimination .

Scott's point is that in America that can be overcome by looking forward and not obsessing over the past.

The emperor is in a unique position; as the first African American elected to be President ;to lead a national discussion about race . But instead of seriously engaging in it he lobs rhetorical spitballs from the cheap seats. His comments about Scott were not serious or worthy of a person in his position.

LBJ launched the war on poverty in 1964 and untold billions has been spent in the effort. So after 6 decades and a fortune spent ;has there been any improvements in the Democrat bastions of the inner cities ? Seems to me the same issues persist in the inner cities as then.

Scott is offering a different more traditional path . The contrast in results is night and day.

One thing I'm convinced the dems fear is for black Americans to discover that they can help themselves far more than any government can. Once they figure that out, their support of the dem party will diminish greatly.

Scott has been surprisingly refreshing for me. After several years of Trump's acid tongue, he could very well be a great candidate.

Tim Scott dropped out of the contest . He was just too nice ;too optimistic . It worked for Reagan . But in the Trump /Clueless Joe era of grifter politicians ,angry, negative ,cynical grievance politics sells .
