Fresh off their disastrous management of the Detroit school system, now one of the worst in the country, the school board has finally discovered the true source of the problem. One of the high schools was named after Dr. Ben Carson, one of those black men who, in the words of Mr. Biden, is, "articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy." It is, to them at any rate, clear that it would not be wise to name a school (Ben Carson School of Science and Medicine) after a guy who rose from poverty to become one of the world's leading neurosurgeons. After all, why would they want to possibly inspire other young black kids to excel? Lamar Lemmons, a school board member, explained that it is, "...synonymous with having Trump's name on our school in blackface." He alleged that Trump, "...says he is a white nationalist and sends dog whistles that even the deaf can hear," thus proving that people outside this board can also play fast and loose with the truth.

It's just another example of liberal dem pols who, having no idea of what needs to be done with government, try to make decisions of a strictly symbolic nature that will draw cheers from a populace completely at ease with a school system where fewer than 2% of juniors could score a 21 or better on the ACT while having a dropout rate in excess of 30%.

Ben Carson is a national treasure and a positive role model for all children ,including Black children. So of course the Dem plantation cannot tolerate his recognition.
