    T87 Honeywell Thermostat Diagram
    Removed my old Honeywell T87 thermostat for a new digital one. Now my wife can't program the digital. Neither can I. So to avoid domestic untranquility, I am putting the old one back on. Trouble is, I forgot to note the wiring hookup. I have four wires, Red, Blue, Green, and White. Can someone tell me how the hookup should go? This will save me from domestic violence court.     Most likely red will go to R, green will go to G, white will go to W, and blue to Y. Is this a air conditioning system? Just heat or what other information can you provide us. You really need to check the air handler connections to determine what color wires go to what terminals. Some unprofessional installers could use almost any combination.
