Go to your prom. Sit with your friends who are there -even if they are already paired off. You will probably have loads of fun. There will be plenty of opportunities to dance if you want to. If you don't want to dance, you can watch the interaction of your classmates. Regardless of intentions you won't see most of them again after graduation. Make it a memory you can always look back on. Another idea is to ask a friend from another school to go with you as a friend, that way there is no pressure.

Spend the money and go! Go with friends or surprise everyone and ask the wallflower of your class. You two will be the talk of the prom.

Go, you will never regret it. Also I bet there will be others that don't have a date, why not check around and find someone to go with.

This was one of the best nights of my life. I didn't have a boyfriend at the time, I just asked one of my closest friends at the time (who had a girlfriend) to go and we had the time of our life! No drama, no worry, great times with my friends... I still remember everything. Ask a good friend or go alone, it doesn't matter. At one dance, I actually asked a good friend of mine who also didn't have a date and we went as eachothers dates... it was hilarious! We even gave each other corsages.. haha

Prom Coming Up [ 5 Answers ]

Okay, so prom is coming up sometime in mid-May, and I already know who I'm going to ask. The only problem is, I'm not sure when would be the right time to ask him. I don't want to ask him too soon, but at the same time, I don't want to ask him too late. Sorry if this sounds a little confusing.
