    People in my Unit without Notice or Permission
    Hi I have a question about a situation that is just now happening:
    Work started on the townhome I rent for termite repairs. I was never made aware that repairs were going to take place. At first, Yesterday, they where just working on the outside of the building. This caused nails to come through the walls in the interior of my home. Then today when I came home this afternoon, there was a contractor in my house, and the front window of the home had been removed. I called the Landlord and he said they had permission to work outside but not enter the unit. I called the police and he told me it was a civil issue. The contractors said the landlord gave them permission to work on my unit and several others and was out there with them earlier. What do I do? What can I do? I have no window at the moment and I have strangers entering my home with out notice- landlord says they aren't supposed to be there and police say there is nothing they can do. IM IN FLORIDA.

    Ask the workers how long you will be without windows and if you can't get an answer, call the contractor's office and ask their schedule.

    My question would be how did they get in?
