Student, filed 1040ez, but needed 1040long what do I do?
I have already filed my 2006 tax returns. I filed for the first time as an independent. I am a student and I forgot about my Hope Tax Credit. 2006 was my second year for school so I qualified. I now know that I should have filed a 1040 long to claim my Hope Tax Credits. I filed a 1040ez. How do I change forms. Do I file an amendment? Please help!
