    I currently have the Nexplanon implant in my arm. I got it back in June/July of 2016.
    I currently have the Nexplanon implant in my arm. I got it back in June/July of 2016. I had my period that month as usual, however after that I only had very light spotting up until recently when I started my period on December 7, 2016. Since then I have continually had a normal flow period with occasional painful cramps. I'm at the point where I'm not sure what to do and I cant see my normal doctor because I am from California but in Missouri for college. I am out of options.

    My girlfriend had that as well, and her cycles changed pretty dramatically as well. Find a doctor near your school or go to your student health center. They'll be your best resource.

    You do have options. Don't you have health care? Your school should also help. Check with family planning clinics.
