    Shower Faucet Doesn't completely shutoff
Hi I have a shower faucet that continues to flow water when the knobs are completely shutoff.
It only happens with the Hot water, The cold shuts off fine. There are NO LEAKS whatsoever... other than the problem I'm trying to address, I have taken apart both knobs and all seems fine, no leaks, no damages, shower head works fine and that doesn't leak either.
Can anyone tell me what could possibly be the problem? It seems to me as if suddenly the hot water valve doesn't completely "close" when made to do so, I noticed that I have needed to turn the knob tighter and tighter over these past few months in order to completely shutoff the running water but now I don't know what to do.Im a DIY guy. No prof. plumbing experience at all so forgive me if this assumption is incorrect.

Thank you for your time and help. =)

p.s it seems to me like the problem is behind the drywall where I have no access.. no leaks visible still, but from what I saw when taking apart the hot/cold/ knobs
it doesn't seem like the problem can be fixed on the outside, I believe I have tried all I could to investigate this issue and found nothing wrong. Which is why I have stated my assumption.

You have described a 2 or 3 knob tub/showervalve and not a single handled faucet. A brand name would be nice. The hot water side may need a new washer and/or a new seat but we don't know that because we don't have enough information to make a cogent answer. Please click on back with more details. Hey thanks for your help, my brother in law came by today, he shutoff the water supply and took a look. He said it was the seat just like you said and now my problem is fixed, I watched him do it and now I know how to solve it for myself. Thanks Tom!
