    white rodgers thermostat stuck on hold after power outage.
    We had a power outage and now the compressor is on, but not cooling. We have reset he battery and still stuck on hold at 82 degrees. Help!

We have a very old white roger thermostat for our gas furnace and are replacing it with a honeywell rth2310. Our current thermostat only has two wire one balck and the other white. Where do I make the connections.
