So in the drawing below are the two rooms that are separated by a 5ft opening in the wall. I found a really great price on an AC unit that is 15000 BTU and covers 800 Square feet. This unit will be installed inside the wall. The purple marks indicate where the ac unit can be placed. My question is, is this unit to big to cover the areas?should I be looking into getting something smaller. The wall in between the kitchen and the living room gives me an impression that one ac won't be able to cover both areas. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks!
