    Assumption, the car has ZERO kinetic energy at the start, being at rest.

    Steps to solving this problem.

    1). Figuring out final velocity. The Car is accelerating by 15 m/(s*s). For 120 seconds. This gives you the velocity for your kinetic energy calculation.

    2). Using your kinetic energy formula, from your textbook, calculate the objects kinetic energy. You have the mass and now you have the velocity, you should be able to come up with the kinetic energy.

    A lot of the physics that you're doing right now is plug and play with formula, you just need to understand what values go where and into what equation. What is helpful is to list what you have, i.e. mass and acceleration, what you need, i.e. kinetic energy, and what values you need to figure out the answer. Can be a single step process, can be multiple steps.
