Drain and hot & cold water valves ( angle stops ) should be within the cabinet the sink will be installed in. Install sink, install faucet and connect sink drain with drain pipe on the wall. As far as hot and cold water supplies go - you connect angle stops with faucet using flexible water supplies or appropriate size
Kitchen drain should be 1 1/2". Hot and cold water incoming pipes should be 1/2". If you plan on using garbage disposer, install sink drain stub out at about 16" from the floor. If no garbage disposer is used, than you can go 20" high. Water supply valves are more flexible. Basically, they can by anyplace within the cabinets. The instructions list a recess frame that has 4 channeled aluminum strips that screw together at the ends. This fits around the recessed medicine cabinet box. I'm not clear on how/where this frame is to be positioned when cabinet is inserted into the wall opening.
