Can maintenance chemicals be used in basement sewer ejection pumps
Our basement sewer ejection pump gets clogged frequently. Is there any chemical I can use to pour down the drain to dissolve waste material in the sump well. I saw something like this on TV for use in septic systems.

I suggest that you purchase enzyme pellets that introduce strong bacteria to the sewage that helps dissolve solids inside septic tank. See enclosed link...

If enzymes won't help, than you have to have your tank pumped out and flushed clean.

As an advice, I suggest that you watch what you flush down the toilet. Use only septic-friendly toilet paper. No paper towels, Kleenex, feminine products, or make up removal tissues should be ever flushed down to the septic tank as they are almost always part of the problem

    Hope that helps
