I have custody of my 2 grandchildren and their mother is unfit
I have had custody of my 2 grandchildren for almost 2 years now. Their mother has had her children around prostitutes and pimps and drug dealers. She got kicked out of a hotel because they said she was prostituting. She was even dating the pimp and drug dealer it was the same guy. That was 2years ago since than she is with one guy after another their either on drugs or convicted child molesters. Her son is 10 and he is autistic he is wonderful he has been through so many men in his life she always picked the men over him they mentally abused him and she allowed it and she stayed with them until she found someone else. My granddaughter is 6 she has diagnosed with ADHD, bipolar and depression all because of the abuse by her mother. She has threatened to kill them by drowning them in the pool. Right now she has a boyfriend that is 10 years younger than her does not work does not have a car and is very lazy. Me and my husband don't have a lot of money but the kids have never gone with out. Please some one help me these children are everything to me. And if she was to get them back they would either end up dead or she would sell them for drugs

What kind of help are you looking for?

You have full and legal custody? If so, they don't need to be around her and you raise them as best you can.

When you say you have custody was this granted by a court or is it just that you keep the children full time ?

J_9's question is key. Given the facts you present she is unlikely to regain custody. The only thing more you can do is adopt and that won't be easy or cheap.

cdad's question is also pertinent. If you don't have legal custody then you have no rights to the children.
