Looking for a movie title, As far as I remember it had one of those clever unforgettable titles - that I forgot.
In this movie, a successful executive gets retrenched or fired and after a downward slide, ends up training to be a telesales person, something he despised when he was doing well. In one early scene he tells such a person on the phone, "Is this really what you wanted to do with your life".
After a really pushy training, where the trainer insists that the person or victim on the phone "has your money" and you must get it from him or her, he ends up on the phone selling something with the reward to customers being a grandfather clock - a rather simple wooden clock that hangs on the wall behind him.
I think he does work himself out of this rut but I want to view it again to remind myself of some things that made an impression on me.
