    Fraud in Loblaws
    I caught for fraud, and I told have my address, name and DOB. I got charge for trespassing with a ticket. Got letter from Loblaws to pay $325. Do I have to pay? Will my record be in national retail theft database

    You do not have to pay, a civil penality, not court ordered, but, if you do not, the store may still press criminal charges that will give you a criminal record also.

    If this store reports to a national data base (there are several) then yes you will be on it.

    If you do not pay the civil penalty and they press criminal charges, then you will be on a criminal data base also
