When you saw your doctor, what did he/she recommend? Have you been back since these issues started?

why in the world, would you use a tens unit, without getting it examined by a doctor.

You go to a doctor, get it examined, get x-rays and find out first what type of injury it is.

I agree, your first thought and action should have been. See a doctor.

More importantly, this appears to be either a Workers Comp case (assuming this occurred at work) or a negligence suit (if it occurred at a store, etc.). In either case, you should be filing a claim (either with your employer or the property owner) to cover your medical bills.

The TENS and the brace are clues that you have an ongoing knee condition.
It sounds like the 'pallet fell on it' just today?

When your way doesn't work it's time to see a doctor and do it HIS WAY.
