Hi all, I'm new to the site, I have recently had my hot water pipe fixed but now I have no hot water, I asked the plumber if I could use it and was told it's good to go. It's been 5 hours since he left & no hot water. Please help!

Well, you will have to tell us more than that. What did he fix?

Do you not have any water coming out the hot side or is it that water that comes out is just not hot?

If you do not have any water coming out the hot side, look at you water heater and see if the valve on the cold water pipe to the water heater is open?

If the water coming out the hot side is just not hot, look to see if the pilot light is lit if it is a gas water heater. If it is an electric water heater look to see if the breakers in the electric panel are on.

Call plumber back or tell us more.

Your plumber should really bleed and start up the how water system. There may be number of things happening. Please, provide us with more detailed description of you hot water problem, plumbing system, as well as configuration of your house
