    Low pressure
Hi. I have low hot water pressure throughout my flat. My electric galaxy aqua 400 shower was flashing 'low pressure ' and cutting off. Bought a triton shower and same thing is happening. The hot water taps have half the pressure of the cold taps. I've tried opening the hot water and cold water taps but nothing. Any ideas?

Do you own or rent the flat? Is there a water heater in your flat? Pressure and volume as often confusing, I believe your issue is actually volume since the cold pressure is the same as the hot pressure since they both originate from the same incoming line.

Hi. It's only the hot water taps that have low pressure. There is a valve beside water tank in cupboard to turn hot water off and a separate cold water tap at front door. The shower is electric so is coming from the cold water mains that has high pressure. Very confused why the shower flashes low pressure and turns off?

And yes sorry I own the flat

OK since you own the flat we can do a few things a renter could not do. You can buy an inexpensive water pressure gauge at most any hardware store. Attach it to the drain spigot of the water heater to measure the pressure, compare that to your cold pressure, betting they will be the same. This would cause me to think there is an obstruction in the hot line. Flotec TC2104 Pump, 0-100 PSI Pressure Gauge for Jet/Submersible-Well and Sprinkler Pump

If they live in an area with hard water... those flash heaters can become so calcified in as little as just a couple years they will become plugged up (some are more prone to it than others). I usually have to de-calcify my mother in laws aerators every year they manage to become half plugged up in just 1 year.
