Will I pass an ETG in 48 hours?
I drank about half of a pint and one beer Thursday night and only one beer Friday night. The half pint was of fireball whiskey and the beers were craft beers with higher alcohol percentage; roughly 7%. I have an ETG test on Monday that I will be taking voluntarily because I was late for my PBT on Saturday morning. It will be 48 hours since my last beer on Friday and 72 since the liquor and beer since Thursday. Do I have a chance of passing?

I was 48 minutes late for my PBT Saturday because I overslept, I blew zeros though. My probation officer did not tell me to take an ETG, I just figured it would be good to do so. Do you think that I would pass? Like I said, I had one beer Friday. Thursday, however I had approx half of a pint (over estimating) and one beer.

PBT? This is a global website, what it means to you might be different than what it means to others.
ETG is sensitive up to 80 hours or more. Chances that you pass aren't very great.

You may have passed a portable breath test but urine is a different more precise measure of alcohol in your system. Chances are still 50/50 that 48 hours is enough to bring your levels down to zero, since so many factors go into this measurement, and a few shots and a few beers may be detected in small amounts. You have to wait and see if indeed they are, and if those levels violates the agreement you had when signed it and for whom. None of which you have divulged.
You may be in trouble if indeed ZERO tolerance for alcohol is YOUR standard, and at the mercy of the ones REQUIRING the rest. For my money though, some small level of detection is within the realm of possibility.

Is there anything that you know of that I could do to lower my chances of failing? I am doing this on my own will, it is not required of me at this point; but pointless to submit to the test if I am going to fail. Gym? Sauna? Drink a detox drink? I have been drinking a lot of water.

Time machine, nothing else would work. Many of them INCREASE the chances of a fail or just lighten your wallet despite claims by someone making money off other peoples desperation....or desperate people that fall for the snake oil sales pitch.
And keep in mind they are not FDA regulated and don't have to prove they work as advertised (and in fact can't). And the FDA rarely steps in unless people die or permanently injured from it.

If there are no adverse consequences then no worries. Preparations for a test are much better than desperate tricks and gimmicks to hide the deed, that do more harm than good.

There is nothing that will work to fool an ETG test. Drinking a lot of water will fail you for dilution.
You mentioned a probation officer. I'm assuming that you're not supposed to drink at all, not even a sip? If so, why are they not randomly testing you? Did you really ask for this test? If so, wow, not a smart move on your part. At 48 hours you'll likely fail. Could you pass? Sure. Anything is possible. I could win the lottery tomorrow. Will I? Probably not. My chances aren't good. Nor are yours.
Will you go to jail when you fail this test?
Perhaps the question you should be asked is how to abstain from alcohol you're not supposed to be drinking while on probation. There's a bigger issue here.

Don't drink. That is the sure fire way to not fail. IF you're doing this of your own will then you recognize that importance of what you're doing. Is it wise to try to cheat the system in which you're trying to achieve something with?

The real question is if you learned anything from this experience.

You were lucky, you really should not have passed. So as already noted, did you learn anything? Or will you continue to drink?

Can I pass an EtG after 67 hours. Drinking 4 beers in 2 hours
[ 2 Answers ]
The 67 hour mark is the time I finished the last of four beers. I ate afterward and have been drinking lots of water, gatorade, g tea, and a little B-vitamins. I have been urinating frequently and I know I have to eat 4 hours or so before the test. I am a male and weigh 180 lbs.
