    Poulan Model 262-811 Rear wheels, one turns forward other wants to turn backward
    Poulan Model 262-811 5 Speed Riding Mower. MFG ID # HDT 1338A. Have been asked to fix. Rear Wheels, one turns forward the other wants to turn backward at the same time no matter what gear. Note: Lawn Mower is not running.

    This is normal differential action. Don't believe me, jack your car up. Unless you have a limited slip differential its going to do the same thing. What happens when you turn the input shaft. Does it turn? If the input turns...and we know both wheels turn. You are looking at the wrong end of the mower.
