    ETG Question
I'm on probation and fairly certain I have an EtG test on Tuesday. Initially I wasn't worried as I have not been drinking since being sentenced but have read online about false positives in relation to certain deodorants/mouthwashes/foods. I switched to non-alcohol mouthwash on Thursday but just now realized the deodorant I've been using contains alcohol. My question is will this show up tomorrow on the test? Thanks in advance.

    Yes/No,

Will it show up, yes, to what levels? No one can tell you at this point. Will it be enough to fail you, normally no, but this test has many failures that are hard to explain, and passes at times when they should easy fail.

So at this point, you have to just hope.

Congratulations, you seem to be one of the few people who have the where-with-all to not drink while on probation. What chuck said is essentially true. It is hard to say what levels are being put into your system. You should be okay, but that is dependent on a good number of things. Make sure of the products and foods you eat and you will be fine in the long run. Please note that while most people believe that ALL the alcohol is cooked off when used in food, that isn't true. It would need to cook for a long time for all the alcohol to be cooked off and that is often not the case. Make sure to stay away from anything that has Alcohol as an ingredient. White wine sauces for example.

Good luck. We're rooting for you.
