    Tax filing Entension
I earned an income for part year in AZ. and my wife joined me during the latter half of the year, she has never been to AZ. I am filing joint taxes with her as I am a resident alien of IL. While filing my Federal taxes I am also applying for her ITIN number. ( I am not extending my Federal tax returns)

My question is for filing an extension for the state of AZ should I include her name in the entension form or I should not include since she was never present in AZ.

If I include her name she does not have an SSN so how should I go about it?

    Thanks

    Taher

For AZ, it really does not matter if you file the extension for yourself or for both of you.
