    Criminal Records in Canada
How do they work? Once you have one what are your options? How long does it stay, what jobs are restricted is there any way to get rid of it?

    Thank you :)

Your criminal record can be erased.

You can apply for a pardon after 3 years of completing your sentence if tried for a summary offence or 5 years if tried for an indictable offence.

Any job might decide not to hire you based on your criminal record, some might not tell you that to your face though.
