    Love and war
So my boyfriend and I love each other I guess you could say. I am crazy about him for sure.. but since we have been together (about a year now) we have been known for fighting. Everyone knows that we fight often enough (not nearly as much anymore) so that must say something! But I cannot leave him, I have tried but I do love him... when we are happy... we are like a picture perfect couple you see in movies! I don't know what to do! We have discussed it many time and it progresses sslowly and I know that it will get better buit I don't have a life time to wait for it. I don't expect no fights at all.. but every second day... it's a little much, don't you think?

Would be too much for me, have you both tried mediation to find out the route of the problem?

Louie has a good point. If you get married, it is going to get worse, not better. You might want to seek out the help of a couples/marriage counselor. You both need to learn how to communicate with each other in a more positive and productive way. I could not imagine spending half my time fighting with my partner. I would rather be alone than be subjected to that.

There was a post about a marine that lost is life. A marine that committed suicide. I commented on about what a war can do to somebody mentally. I also commented on what I would do if I were him. All of a sudden it turned into somebody accusing me of dictating what others have to do. Which was...

I recently saw a bumper sticker that stated: "Why do we kill people to show that killing people is wrong?" While I am not a warmonger, I do see the need for it since so many of our world leaders do not have the same value system. How do I respond to "peaceniks" who can offer no viable alternative...
