I was kicked out of my house by my two other roommates. I just put 1850 down for rent and deposit and they will not cooperate to let me get my stuff out. I feel as if I should be able to get money immediately.

Lot depends on where you lived exactly... WHat country and state.

WHat you feel and what you are entitled to are not always the same thing.

There are situations where you won't get your deposite back immediately because if there is a lease and the landlord has it... they won't give it back until the end of the lease... and your roomates aren't required to give it back because a portion of the deposit has your name on it.

Lot of details you didn't give that will determine an answer.

Any question on law needs to include your general local as laws vary by area. What do you mean kicked out? Are you on a lease or did they sublet to you? When did you move in, when did this happen? What have you tried to get your stuff?

Generally, this is an illegal eviction. A tenant cannot be kicked out without proper notice and proper legal proceedings. A landlord that tries an illegal eviction can be subject to penalties and give you grounds for a suit. But we really need more details to be able to help.

We can't answer very well without knowing why they kicked you out. Doing drugs, dealing drugs, or sexually harassing a roommate are very different from being a slob or playing loud music til 3 am.
