    Instead of a PTRAP, A bell floor drain relies on its bell shaped strainer design dipped into water to keep sewer gasses from entering a home... problem with these is that they are famous for drying out or getting mucked up with gunk and eventually siphoning dry. They are illegal everywhere that I know of...
