Kitchen sinks have drain baskets. Never saw a lavatory sink with a drain basket. Most lavatory sinks have an overflow built in. I say most, not all, because I have one that does not have an overflow hole. Didn't realize it until after I had installed it. I think it was a factory defect.

My bathroom tub gurgles when I have water draining from the bathroom sink.. In addition, I will occasionally get some black specks that will burp out of the sinks overflow drain hole.. Any suggestions on where to start looking to correct these problems?
