L111 Mower blades stop and go
    Hello

I have a John Deere L111. I am having a problem with the mower blades cutting in and out. They turn for about 20 - 30 seconds then cut out for 10 - 20 seconds then back on. Not sure if this is related but I seem to smell gas when they cut out
I did my regular spring maintenance of : Oil and Filter change
    New Fuel Filter
    New Air Filter
    New Gas
    New Blades this year
