My period is due tomorrow 5/29 , and I have had light brown spotting very sporadic only when I wipe for 3 days since 5/26, I thought it was going to turn into my period but has gotten even lighter today and more sporadic. I also noticed today a very mild almost unnoticeable cramping in my left side only. The spotting is only when I wipe. I took a test yesterday but it was negative. I was told I might not have a positive until I'm actually late for my period. Could this be implantation spotting or bleeding? I really want to conceive as we lost our last pregnancy in September to miscarriage and this would be our first child if it goes to term.I will appreciate any info or response thank you so much in advance.

You have to wait until your period is at least 2 weeks late before you can test and get reliable results. Anything else is just making wild guesses. Yeah its a tough wait...but its the only reliable early indicator you will have.

At this point it's too early to test, and too early to tell. It could be an off period, brown blood usually indicates old blood, it normally happens in the last stages of your period, but can happen anytime in between. It's your body cleansing itself. I have many times had brown spotting in lieu of a period. It happens.

Sadly we can't diagnose pregnancy online, and it's frustrating. You want to conceive, and you're on pins and needles hoping that it happens. Been there, done that. Sadly we can't tell you what this means. The only way to diagnose pregnancy is with an at home urine test (and you tested way too early), a blood test, an ultrasound in later pregnancy, or giving birth. There's no other way, and it sucks.

I'm afraid you have to play the waiting game, and it's so hard. I feel for you. But that's life, and how life is started. It takes time.

Ya I figured there would be some waiting involved lol. I'm going to call the dr tomorrow just to make sure its not anything that I shoukd be concerned about health wise. But other than that I'll wait and see if I get my period or not. I should get it tomorrow if I'm going to get it at all. Finger crossed I don't get it lol. And thank you so much for the relies I appreciate it so much :-) I'll definitely keep you guys posted as soon as I know anything

Hoping it turns out the way you want. If it doesn't, don't get discouraged. It can take the average couple up to a year, or even longer, to conceive. If you haven't conceived after a year of actively trying (tracking ovulation etc) then see a doctor. But until then, chin up and keep trying.
