Will great stuff hurt a live maple tree to fill a hole?
[ 2 Answers ]
Can Great Stuff insulation foam be used in a sugar maple tap hole without any damage to the live tree? I don't think so because the stuff will expand and cure to a non wet form, so the product should not be absorbed into the wood. Any thoughts? Thanks, Larry

Low expansion foam between bottom of studs?
[ 1 Answers ]
I was wondering if it's okay to spray a few inches of canned foam between the bottom of wall studs. My hope is to seal off the wall from the room to prevent drafts, insects, etc. but I wasn't sure if it might create a problem with vapor/moisture/existing insulation. Thanks!
