    Safe to use an 4 to 3 prong adapter for a 120/240V dryer to 125/250 v 30A outlet?
    Can I safely use an adapter to solve this connection problem?

    What is the gauge of your 4 wire cord right now? You can go from 250 to 240 safely but not always the other way around.
