Pic Attached - Water pressure disappearing...
Sorry about that! New member here :)

Hi guys! I live in a house originally built in 1892 though I have no idea as to the age of the plumbing. Recently, a baby-wipe type item was accidentally flushed and caused an overflow. I turned off the water, plunged several times - each time filling the tank manually - and the clog cleared. I noticed some water dripping from underneath the tank, where a copper tube screws in, so I tightened it with the water still off. The only problem is before there was a strong stream of water flowing into the tank and it would refill very quickly. Now, the water valve is turned on completely but the water just trickles out. I know that water pressure should be a separate issue from the toilet mechanism, but I feel that they must be related since this change occurred immediately after I worked on the toilet. Plus, I noticed before that as the ball floats up the stream slowly lessens until it stops. Towards the end of the refilling phase if you push down on the ball slightly the water will come out strongly again.. so there must be a connection? Perhaps I pushed something out of place? Below is a picture, as I'm not sure how to describe the fixture. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Please excuse my lack of the correct terminology :)

When you tighten the connection it is possible you broke loose some debris that is now clogging the fill valve. By the looks of the current valve you could try to fix it but I would not bother. You can replace the old valve for about $15 with one of the best on the market. Buy a Fluidaster 400A and be done with it.
