    I have to plumb in hookups from overhead pipes how?
    I am installing washing machine hookups in my basement and all the plumbing is ran overhead what is the best way to do this?

    How high is the ceiling ? When it comes to it, washing machine will pump 8' high. You would have to extend the discharge hose and install back-flow valve.

    As far as drain hook up: Cut in "Y" in above drain, point the "Y" 45 degree upward and connect drain hose to it. Use coupling that will clamp over the "Y" inlet on one side and will accept hose on the other side. Use check valve at the bottom to prevent water from returning to the washing machine. As far as water goes: Just run hot and cold down to the washer level, install 2 valves at the end and hook up h/c hoses to it.
