Hi Folks,

I have a permit to finish out a 3rd floor bonus room in my house. It's framed up but I'm adding some interior walls and will be doing following to finish out:
1. Add AC/heating
2. Add electrical
3. add bathroom
4. add insulation/drywall.

I have a permit to do the work and doing some of the DYI work myself but hiring licensed companies to do the tougher work (electrical, plumbing, insulation).

As part of the permit I'm required to submit a rescheck. Who should be able to do this ? Is it the HVAC or the insulation or a separate contractor altogether?

I think this falls to your local building inspector. You need to call that office and check, they are very specific when they come out to look. Don't install drywall over insulation, plumbing or electrical until the inspectpor has signed off.
