The sound of water leaking
When I place my ear against the shower tile, I hear what sounds like water
Running. When I check my water meter it is not moving. When I turn on a faucet, the meter moves. When I turn off the water heater, the sound continues. When I shut off the toilet, the sound Continues. When I shut off the water valve to the house, the sound stops. What is going on ? Sherm |

Where is the water valve to the house? Did you look at the meter closely? Check the very small red or green triangle to see if it is moving. Turn off the water at the meter, if you can. Now what? If the meter is indeed not turning, you don't have a leak. Do you have a sprinkler system?
